In Ground Post (43″)
The In Ground Steel Mailbox Mounting Post by Mail Boss is made of heavy-duty 10- and 14-gauge galvanized steel with a durable powder-coated finish.
Use this 43″ in-ground mailbox post to mount any curbside Mail Boss locking mailbox. The In Ground Post should be buried approximately 12″ in ground in order for the incoming mail slot of the Mail Boss mailboxes to be within USPS specifications of 41″-45″ above the road side surface. This post will fit securely over a treated wooden 4″x4″ post for deep installations and reinforcement with rebar stakes, and makes for a perfect mailbox post cover.
Constructed of heavy-duty steel the 43" In-Ground Mailbox Post by Mail Boss has been specifically engineered to be tough enough to support up to four of our heaviest curbside mailboxes with ease.
Paired with one our heavy-duty cluster mailbox beams homeowner associations, multi-family residential units, cul-de-sacs, rural areas and close knit neighborhoods with limited roadside mail delivery can quickly and easily install multiple mailboxes on the same post, in configurations of 2, 3, or 4 mailboxes.
The 43" In-Ground Mailbox Post easily installs directly into the ground or can be mounted over a 4×4 wooden post (sold separately) and can even be anchored with re-bar for cold weather climates or additional stability.
