IMPORTANT: This mailbox is NOT approved by USPS for new installations. Florence horizontal mailboxes are designed for use in larger multi-family apartment buildings, dormitories, and office high rises as replacement units for existing installations only. According to USPS Postal Bulletin section 632.621, the USPS requires properties upgrade to current standards when any remodel or renovation occurs to the property. Any remodel big or small should drive an upgrade to CBU or 4C mailboxes.
